BATON ROUGE – Twenty-two LSU student-athletes received their college diploma on Friday as the university held Fall Commencement on campus here at the Maravich Center.

Of the 22 graduates, four earned their Master’s degree as Alex Arlitt (soccer), Brittany Brown (gymnastics), Justin Busch (men’s tennis) and Sophie Weber (women’s swimming and diving) all graduated from the E.J. Ourso School of Business.

The list of LSU student-athlete graduates included 12 in the College of Human Sciences and Education, seven in the E.J. Ourso College of Business, three in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and one in the Manship School of Mass Communications.

The list included six members of the Tiger football team, including starting center Will Clapp, along with baseball All-Americas in Alex Lange and Kramer Robertson.

On Thursday night, the 22 student-athletes were presented with a special LSU stole at “The Tribute” at the South Stadium Club inside Tiger Stadium. “The Tribute” is held the night before graduation in the fall and spring and it commemorates the careers of LSU student-athletes for their accomplishments on and off the field.

The following is a list of notable accomplishments and career highlights for some of the LSU student-athletes that graduated on Friday:

Will Clapp (football/sports administration)

  • Three-year starter on offensive line
  • Two-time first team All-SEC

Garrett House (swimming/international trade & finance)

  • Top 10 times in school history in 200 breaststroke and 400 IM

Sophie Weber (swimming/Master of finance)

  • Four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • Top 10 times in school history in 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 butterfly and 200 backstroke

Kara Kopsco (swimming/kinesiology)

  • Four-time NCAA qualifier
  • LSU record holder in 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 200 IM, 400 IM, 800 freestyle relay

Alex Lange (baseball/marketing)

  • First team All-America (2015) and second team All-America (2017)
  • Two-time first team All-SEC
  • 2017 first round draft pick of the Chicago Cubs
  • SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • 2015 SEC Freshman of the Year

Kramer Robertson (baseball/sports administration)

  • Third team All-America (2017)
  • First team All-SEC (2016)
  • SEC Academic Honor Roll
  • 2017 fourth round draft pick of St. Louis Cardinals

Tyler Moore (baseball/sports administration)

  • 2014 SEC Tournament Most Valuable Player
  • 2014 sixth round draft pick of the New York Mets

Justin Busch (men’s tennis/Master of finance)

  • Two-time All-SEC singles selection
  • No. 10 on LSU’s all-time singles wins list with 93

Toni Rodriguez (volleyball/kinesiology)

  • Starting outside hitter on LSU’s 2017 NCAA Tournament team

Sahvanna Jaquish  (softball/sports administration)

  • Only four-time All-America in LSU softball history

Alex Arlitt (soccer/Master of accountancy)

  • Plays professional soccer for FC Kansas City in the National Women’s Soccer League

Caroline Brockmeier (soccer/kinesiology)

  • Started all 37 games in goal for LSU over the past two seasons.
  • Ranks No. 5 on LSU’s all-time list with 14 career shutouts in 2016 and 2017.

Tinashe Mutanga (women’s track and field/interdisciplinary studies)

  • Crowned an SEC Champion in the 4×100-meter relay during as a senior in 2017
  • Part of LSU’s sprint relay team that won the 2017 SEC title with a time of 38.71 seconds before qualifying for the NCAA final in the event
