Diamond in the Rough: Logan Roy


Logan Roy is a 6’2 200lbs senior safety and running back from Kaplan High School in Kaplan, Louisiana. Roy runs a 4.7 in the 40-yard dash, his shuttle is a 4.57, can bench 265, and can squat 245. Roy recorded three tackles and one tackle for a loss in the Louisiana Gridiron Football bowl game.



When did you start playing football and what do you love about football?

Since I was four years old and I have loved the game of football ever since.

Who is your biggest motivator?

My father, he is always motivating me.

What is your greatest strength on the football field?

My physicality is a part of my game that is my greatest strength.

What would college coaches be most impressed about you?

Not only my physicality, but also my leadership would impress the coaches.

Do you have any football players that inspire you or you can compare your style of play to?

What did you think about the Louisiana Gridiron Football bowl game you played in recently?

It was fun being away for three days and being apart of the game.
