Diamond in the Rough: Tronyonte Clark

Tronyonte Clark is a 6’4 260lbs defensive end and offensive tackle at Patterson High School in Patterson, Louisiana. Clark can bench press 215 and squat 375. Clark recorded 4 tackles and assisted on a sack in the Louisiana Gridiron Football bowl game.

When did you start playing football and when did you begin to like playing football?

When I was a kid it wasn’t long afterwards that I started to enjoy the game of football.

What has football taught you about yourself as a person?

To never quit, never give up, never back.

Are there any other hobbies you enjoy besides football?

Yes I enjoy playing basketball and also baseball.

What are your strengths on the field?

My pass rushing skills is my biggest strength on the football field.

How have you improved since your freshman year of highschool?

I improved a lot, my freshman I didn’t play as much, then my sophomore year I started, then I transferred schools, and throughout each year I learned something new on how to improve my game.

What did you think about the Louisiana Gridiron Football bowl game you played in recently?

It was fun I mean it was really good experience and a great opportunity to perform in front of my family in this type of atmosphere.
