The Saints eat dirty bird and ease the pain of the Week 10 defeat to the Falcons with a 26-18 victory over Atlanta on Thanksgiving night and clinch the NFC South title. New Orleans is now 10-2. Wil Lutz’s kicked four field goal and made the score 26-9. Atlanta fought back and found its way into the end zone with a 13-yard touchdown pass from Matt Ryan to Russell Gage. The score gave the Falcons a short lived life after a run of non-scoring possessions and turnovers. The Saints Taysom Hill also did what he does best, which is everything……

The interesting story for the Falcons was their kicker Koo who was seemingly unable to make field goal after two short attempts, but then hit on a 43 yarder. He then kicked, due to penalty calls, 3 YES 3, onside kick attempts in a row which were all recovered by the Falcons.

Anyway the Saints win another one and are in the playoffs!

Until next time,
